Christopher Kane
Filed in: DIY, Designers, Fashion
When looking at Christopher Kane´s collection I can´t help but think that it must be possible to create something similar myself. I have tons of old slips lying around, perhaps I could use their sheer look, add a lot of giant sequins and pair it with something knitted? It´s at least worth a short. I think something like this would be pretty sweet paired with a pair of leather pants like those mentioned in the previous post too. Kane´s collections always strike me as so simple in a way, one simple genius idea that has me going “Why didn´t anybody else think of that?”. In one way it annoys me, but I can´t help loving it at the same time.

I like nude colour but unfortunately I don’t look good in it!

I actually loved his show! It’s totally wearable and a great DIY project waiting to happen! I think the sheer fabrics with fine multi-directional pleating were beautiful. Also the chunky black sweaters covered in metal sequins and pailletes were super cool. I’m totally searching ebay for some vintage sheer chiffon pants or skirt from the 50’s/70’s! So cute but not sure how to really wear them yet! advice? xoxoxoxo
