  1. Meri Says:

I hope you’re not a alcoholic (’cause the bottle is almost empty). But I don’t think so, you’re rather a shop-o-holic :D. Great dress!

  2. MiMiLove Says:

the dress looks so light and nearly flying, the fabric must feel very nice! and the print is amazing.

  3. Ashe Mischief Says:

That dress is delicious! I absolutely adore how subtle, yet bold it is.

  4. rose Says:

You had him over for what? I really like the dress though! The shape is great on you. Tall girls can pull that off.

  5. Linn Says:

Love your shoes! And the dress as well!

  6. Aneta Says:

beautiful dress, just perfect. And not mini one:)

  7. Agathe Says:

Meri, not at all, the bottle was almost empty to begin with. ;)

MiMiLove, it´s actually silk, and not very pricey silk to be either.

Rose, that´s at least what I figured out it was called in English! Scary looking fish that tastes heavenly.

Thanks all! I tend to buy clothes based on some sort of theme or plan, rarely because I just find something pretty. I thought I´d make an exception for today and buy something ONLY for the fact that I thought it was pretty.

  8. kajakowo Says:

    Lovely look!

  9. cedar Says:

    Gorgeous dress!

  10. Mel Says:

Cordelia, they´re gray. I thought of fixing up the colors in the picture, but left it like this…

  13. Annema Says:

    lovely dress.

  21. Rose Says:

Oh I just saw Molvin! How cute is she!?
So you inspired me to do some research and Wolffish is the Anarhichadidae and it is one ugly fish. Though it looks like it’s the Seawolf that people actually eat. The more you know and all..

  22. carlos Says:

What did youre wedding dress look like ? :)

  23. mej Says:

Ooh, that dress is gorgeous! The pink shoes really set the outfit off, as well.
I love little Molvin! He looks adorable :)

  26. Agathe Says:

Rose, aha, thanks! I found a food dictionary online translating from Norwegian to English. It´s a really ugly fish though. With lots of teeth so you have to be careful not to be bitten when you´re out fishing for it. My dad actually caught the one we ate. :)

Carlos, click the wedding category and you´ll find pictures.

Mej, no problem! On my way to check out your blog.

    Thanks for all you comments!

  27. Chang Says:

Oh, I think I know what you are talking about. It’s more commonly called “seawolf” in the US. Although they are hard to find.

  28. Nadine Says:

The dress is amazing and it suits you so well!

  29. night Says:

the dress is awesome, looks really light! but I guess it’s suitable only for slim girls, I’d look like a big cookie with whipped cream in it:-)

  30. rose Says:

See this is another thing I love about this blog! Not only do I get great fashion ideas but it’s always cool learning new things about different cultures and places. Not too mention how cool it is that your Dad caught the fish!

  31. Hanna Says:

That’s a gorgeous dress. I love Zara! Can’t wait till they open a store here, in Ukraine, this spring.

  32. Eve Says:

You look great as usual:) We have finally decided to buy a little pig like Yours, but we haven’t got the slightest idea where to get it from? Where did You buy it? And what is the exact name of her race?

  33. shopaphilia Says:

That’s such a pretty ethereal dress and it’s perfect on you!

  34. Agathe Says:

Rose, haha, if you want to learn even more about Norway you should come up to my father´s place and go fishing with us!

Eve, how cool, you will love your future pet for sure! The breed is in Norway called Canadian minipig. I suspect it must be called something else in English. It comes from the Vietnamese potbellied pigs, only this one is a lot smaller. They breeded the original pigs in Canada to use as pets and therefore these are smaller. I hope this helps you to find out more. If you need any help at all feel free to send me a mail, I´ll be happy to answer any question! There are many things to keep in mind when buying a pig, and if you meet the wrong seller, you won´t get all the info.

Thanks so much again to all of you!

  35. The Clothes Horse Says:

    The dress is ravishing!

  36. Mila Says:

    wow dope shoes,,love it!

  37. earthkitten Says:

OH! I had no idea your little Molvin was a ‘Canuck’! I live in Canada, and I must say I’ve never seen a pig as cute as yours here…hehe….

    Great outfit.

  38. Rose Says:

I would love to visit Norway! Now if I could find some place to store my four kids. ;)

  39. lynnette Says:

i gotta say, i loooove those pink heels!

  40. Fashion Tidbits Says:

you look awesome in the dress and heels!!!

  41. Imelda Says:

You look great! I love that dress!
I saw it in stores last week, but I didn’t have a chance on buying it because I was waiting for my paycheck to arrive. It finally did, so I’m going to Zara tomorrow!

  42. Jean Voute Pratt Says:

Agathe - I am inspired by your dedication to your eclectic style and, more importantly, your sense of self & style. It’s what all women need. Secondly, I wanted to mention Zara. They just opened up a shop in Greenwich, CT near where I live and it is an amazing store. After reading the story about their process (quick design changes to meet needs/tastes of women) it all made sense. The best part is how affordable it is. Glad to see it work for you as well! All the best, Jean

  43. ediot Says:

sjukt bra du är på att kombinera kläder

  44. Mattie McMaster Says:

Amazing outfit! Are there any online stores that sell this dress? I live in Canada and unfortunately, there is nothing around where I live. I did find one on ebay, but I was outbit. Any help would be great!!!

  45. amanda Says:

hey agathe, i’m going to get a pair of pleaser shoes like the pink ones you have, since you wear it so often you’ve completely convinced me into getting my own pair.

i’m just wondering though about the sizing? i’m around eu38/39, and wear us8 or 8.5– the ebay seller doesn’t have half sizes so i’m worried 8 will be too small, and 9 too big.

    help!

  46. Agathe Says:

Amanda, I am a 39, sometimes a 38, and I wear either 9 or 8,5 i US sizes. The shoes aren’t big in size, so I would recommend going for a size 9. I know they would have been too small for me in a smaller size, that’s all I can say really! :)
