Snakeskin Bangles
Filed in: Accessories, Fashion, Secondhand, Shopping
The only wearable items I found while thrift shopping today were these real snakeskin bangles. I wear a lot of bangles these days so I was thrilled, and even better that they were just a couple of dollars for the lot.

How can you tell if the snake skin is real?

Thanks!
Snakeskin is easy to tell if is real, when you touch it, it will give resistance. I think it´s very hard to fake that…

These are in great condition! The trick to snakeskin is to not let it dry out, however that is accomplished.
What I like best about these is that they seem fairly innocent when in fact they are deadly.

Oh! Another successful thrift trip. I love that they are the colours of Neopolitan ice cream and yet are made of snakes - genius! (Hissss).
P.s. You have a mention on my blog today…I wonder if you could answer the photography question. Who takes all the shots? And who sets them up?

They’re beautiful, it’s amazing how you always find these unique items in such prices.

I think part of why I got them so cheap was that the seller recognized me from earlier - I´ve bought a lot from him before. It pays to go to these markets often. :)
