Tie Dye
Filed in: Accessories, DIY, Fashion
On my way home from work I stopped by a craft shop that had a closing down sale and I grabbed a bunch of tie dye color for future DIY projects. Several bloggers have already attempted making those dip dye tights (as seen in Christian Lacroix´s spring couture show), something that is also on my to do list. I also feel like making a dress of some sort.
In the meantime I will have to settle for this tie dye scarf that I picked up at a thrift shop, cause I really don´t have anything to dye.

I don’t particularly like tie dye clothes, especially shirts, they’re a bit too hippie-ish for my taste.
Anyway, I’ve recently dyed my old blue stonewashed Miss Sixty jeans black using Coloreria. I am not an expert as it was my first time, but they came out fine so I guess it’s a good product! (I don’t know if they sell it outside of Italy, though)

Ever since I saw Susie Bubble’s dip-dye tights this has been on my list as well! I’m going to buy a pair of cheap white ones for this.

tie dying is so easy in a machine. i just tied a t-shirt in 2 knots and threw it in.

You look beautiful. That dress is a confection. I love completely torched, blackened marshmallows.
