Black
Filed in: Fashion, Jewelry, Outfits
I´m going all black today. I guess the weather is still getting to me. Instead of colors I am wearing a set of rings that mean a lot to me. The big flower ring is one that was given to my mom by her parents, that my mom gave to me, and that I will give to my future daughter someday. The ring with the ruby is the engagement ring that my dad gave my mom. And of course my wedding ring. The rest are just from various high street shops. Now I am off to H&M to track down a dress that I want. I am also planning on getting a dark red lipstick, like my nail polish. I wear so much lipstick these days that I need some variation.
Dress: Secondhand
Bag: Vintage
Tuxedo belt: Secondhand
Rings: Various gifts and shops

You’re only expecting future daughters and no sons? THAT’s pretty cool of you!;-)

Agathe,
I love your style. You are so daring. Also… I am so envious of your vintage Chanel. I’m on the hunt for my very first Chanel purse here in Los Angeles. I might just cave in and buy a brand new reissue if my efforts of finding a vintage are unsuccessful. The Chanel I want is almost identical to the one you are wearing.

it must be the weather, i opted for ‘all black’ today as well, somehow the snowing outside made me do it :)

Ron, I have 5 sisters, they have 10 children, only 2 of them are girls. I should have a pretty good shot. ;)
Maria, don´t give up. When it´s meant to be it will come around!
Aquarell, aaaw, then you can give it to your future daughter in law. I like traditions like that. :)
Thanks all of you! The weather reports say the snow is gowing away soon.

Strange, I too have spent not only today but yesterday in all black-head to toe! And I am not one to go for that look-color is usually a must since it dictates my mood or vice versa. I love the new scarf Agathe and just wanted to say again how much I enjoy reading your blog. It has inspired me to update/recreate the blog on my shop’s website. If you have a chance, pop by-but it is still in it’s infancy. (comespywithme.blogspot.com)

I believe that I have the exact cuckoo clock that you have. Where did you get it? I ask because my one was given to me by my granduncle when he re-migrated away from the UK. He had some unique things in his collection and the clock was one of them. (I have to pull the metal things everyday to keep it constantly tick-tocking and the bird comes out every hour, but more like every quarter of an hour!)

I love your rings and especially your vintage Chanel bag! I’ve been looking around for a black vintage Chanel bag for ages but all the good ones seem to be on the internet.
P.S. You look wonderful as usual! :)
