Thrifted

I´ve never been a flats girl. Somehow, even though I am quite tall, they make me feel stumpy. But lately, as I´ve purchased a maxi dress as well as a long skirt, I´ve been playing with the idea of getting a pair of flats to wear with them. Today I came across these leather gladiator sandals at a thrift shop at $10 and I figured that was a price I was willing to pay to test it out.
The butterfly necklace is another thing I thrifted with spring in mind. I love that it´s so big.
At last I got a scarf and a set of gold bracelets.
I intended to stay far away from shops this week. Oh, well…

Funny, I was always a “high heel girl”, too! But the other day I bought me some flats just because of thinking about how lovely some sandals would look like with a nice maxi dress! Like yours so much!
And I really adore your blog!
You have such a great sense of style!

oh, I love the scarf :)
if anyone who reads this is interested in sandals like this I thinks Oasis might have a pair, which is quite similar to this one. Both in black and brown :)

Thanks! I was a little iffy on getting the sandals but I am glad I did. They feel very soft and comfortable.
Margarita, I can´t wait to wear my maxi dress! It´s a little short on me, that´s part of why I figured I should get flats.
Caro, thanks for the tip! Brown sounds lovely too!

Hi Agathe,
So far I’m a little bit sceptic about a long dress, but I know once I see a picture of you rocking it, I defenitly will get one too, so I’m looking out for it allready :-)

Is butterfly in or something? I unconsciously bought three pieces of butterfly jewelry over the weekend without even thinking about it!

I love gladiator sandals and have been meaning to get some for quite a while, but I have never tried any on… do the straps cut into your feet when you wear them??

I have wanted a pair of gladiators for like 3 seasons now and can never find them - I am so hapy you got some cool ones, I’m gonna keep looking! And I have lots of long skirts, can’t wait to see your take!

Lisel, haha! I am not quite used to the idea myself yet, but I figured it would be nice with a change!
Chang, I don’t really know, but they’re pretty aren’t they?
Adrienne, I thought about that issue myself and I can’t say for sure until I wear them outside, but so far after testing them indoors they seem very comfortable. I guess it’s all about getting the softest leather possible. And find some that fits perfectly.
Siska, I am exactly 176,5 cm. I do not know in inches though as all the calculators seem to get it wrong.
Ashley, they haven’t even been worn before! :)
Hailey, you’ll probably find them this season. It’s so annoying when you want something and it’s nowhere to be found!
Liane, $4.99 - even better! Brown is nice though, I’d like that too if I end up wearing these some.

Gladiator sandals are really nice! Not just the look but also the fit, really comfortable aswell if there’s a soft leather. I’ve tried on a pair here in Florence that I want to buy! If not any suggestions on where I can find nice a pair?
