Friendship Bracelets
Today´s non TV activity has been making friendship bracelets. I used to do these all the time when I was younger but now I couldn´t even remember how to. I kept making silly mistakes and they didn´t turn out as nice as I had imagined they would. But I guess it´s all about the thought behind them, not the final result. In case you´ve forgotten how to make these too, I found this tutorial helpful.

I remember the times when the more closer to your elbow amount of these you have, the cooler you were =)

I’m loving crafting right now, I embroidered my canvas bag and I’ll move on to clothes soon. I’m loving Sublime Stitching patterns.

Modejunkie, I know, high school was great!
Nina, haha, I don´t think I was ever near that!
Celeritas, ooh, thanks for the link! I was thinking that things like this would be a great activity if i DID have a TV. I guess I can rent a movie instead.

Oh my goodness, I made a ton of those when I was younger. In fact, I still have all the embroidery thread I used for making them…and the instruction books. Now I want to dig all that stuff out and make some.

That’s SO crazy!
I was just inspired to start making those in Spain and made it top priority upon returning! After not thinking about them for a decade!
Get out of my head!

The lack of TV is leading you into some questionable habits, my dear! ;-)

I used to love those so much. I especially loved the woven ones. I had a little box where I would organize all the colors onto spools, and I loved to look at it!

I used to do those too! That is just too funny.
I have been checking out your blog for so long now and I still love it! You are such a huge inspiration! If I hadn’t mentioned already, I love it!
Random thought though, have you EVER worn anything twice?!

Tash, oh yes I have! Sometimes those are the days where I don’t do a photo for the blog, or perhaps I at least change the accessories. But most of the time I feel kind of done with an outfit as soon as I’ve worn it, even if I wore it home all alone. There are some exceptions though, outfits I would love to wear once a week at times. ;)
Thanks all for your comments! I want to buy more colors and maybe find instructions to make really nice ones that actually can be worn! I think they are kind of nice, mixed with other bracelets, it’s a sweet
and personal touch.

she has a list of like almost 100 things to do. It is cute and simple like collecting things on a walk and making collages! For another no-t.v. activity. I love the bracelet!

omg, this is too uncanny….A few weeks ago, my best friend and I bought tons of new thread to make lots of them for our friends this summer. We want to make hair-wraps too (remember those?!) We were inspired by Mociun’s Fall look-book that we had received in our shop, she makes great use of the thread with pops of neon colours mixed-in with dirty hippie colours…We just became obsessed with the idea, and called it “future hippie”.
