For some reason, this looks very russian to me =)

From your older entries I saw a Macbook, so I’m guessing you’re using PhotoBooth? It can actually be adjusted to take pretty good full-length photos in daylight. :)

Does your husband take all of your photos usually? I always love them! I think many years from now you’ll look back on them and really appreciate how they show of the evolution of your style so well.
How long ago did you purchase that blazer from H&M? Is it still around?

Agathe, still You look gorgeous!

Still cute, even with a webcam shot! Those pants look great.

P, yeah, it can do better than this, but on this rainy day the daylight there is isn´t very helpful… I tried using the self timer on the other camera, but it wouldn´t focus right.
Sabrina, I know, I´ve thought about it myself that it will be a great memory. I try to get better at taking pictures of my family and friends too. The blazer is old, but they´ve had several similar ones over the years so they´ll probably get it again.
Thanks to all of you!

Agathe, the quality of this photo may not be so clear, but it almost looks like a watercolor painting. It’s great! I love happy accidents.

Hi!
I was just wondering ; where do you buy all your secondhand and how much do you usually pay? I went by a secondhand shop in Oslo yesterday called Tonica, but it was kind of expensive!
April 6th, 2008 at 9:51 pm
Thanks guys!
Sophie, I guess I could need the practice, it´s just so annoying when it doesn´t work the way I want it to!
Secondhand, Tonica is expensive but they have some great stuff! I can never lose the habit of stopping buy Fretex at St.Hanshaugen even though I don´t live there anymore, so that´s where a lot of my stuff comes from. I also shop at Birkelunden on Sundays, where I got the red boots today. Both of these are way cheaper alternatives than Tonica. I like the little crappy shops the best though. I don´t know how well you know Oslo, but there are a few shops in Markveien. How much I pay varies a alot, from 10,- like the pants yesterday, 50,- for the boots today, but it can also be much more.

I was wondering if you would consider a link swap…pretty please?

i absolutely adore the boots you bought! i really hope you don’t dye them. i think there are so many ways to wear the boots like pairing the top and blazer you have on today and perhaps a gray or black jean skirt with your barcelona red lipstick. even with black or grey skinny jeans and a vintage tee like your mickey tee would look great and a few bangles like the snake one you have. don’t give up.

The trousers are great, and personally I get stuck doing the myspace shots for my outfits… no photographer = hardtimes

Hi. This is sourapril from Indiana, USA. I ran into your website a while ago. I have been a huge fan of it ever since. I think the long bang and red lipstick looks super good on you. I have a few questions if you don’t mind:
1. I found it’s extremely painful to wear heels that are more than 2 inches high. They hurt my knees more than my feet. How do you do it?
2. Do you shop at yoox.com? I love that website. It’s expensive but during big sale, you can get as much as 90% off designer items.
3. I love shopping online for vintage stuff but sizing has always been a huge pain in the butt. There are so many cute clothes and shoes on etsy.com but since most of the sellers do not have a return policy, I am hesitate to buy any from them. How do you shop online?
Best,
sourapril

I am endlessly jealous of your ability to wear bold red lips. I have big, full lips (not too unlike yours) and yet on me, red lipstick causes this whole duck-bill effect and I end up looking over done. What exactly is your makeup trick?

I love how the red lips match the red bow on your head… It’s a great outfit.
April 7th, 2008 at 1:10 pm
It’s a great outfit, and the photo actually looks pretty good too for a webcam! :)

i think h&m should already sponsor you lol.
i so love how red lipstick looks good on you :)

Somehow this reminds me of Sheena Easton, and I love her. You look stunning!

You look like Alice in Wonderland when she grew too big for her house!
