Disce Mori

Filed in: Designers, Fashion, Jewelry

Julia deVille´s jewelry can not be described as ordinary. Shocking, provocative and ironic are often better words to use, but there´s still something so beautiful and quiet over her work. If I only had the money I would invest in a little something for myself…

  8. Agathe Says:

Nicole Then, it is real actually! Luckily, all the animals she uses have died naturally…

Amy, I am too bad at posting stuff, but trying to get better as I feel weird posting so many pictures of myself all the time.

  9. Laura Says:

I love and want that bird pin so much! There is something so beautiful about death and morbidity like this in fashion.

  10. andrea Says:

    the bird frightens me :(

  11. suzy Says:

i absolutely love the brooch with the man and his mustache…something tells me that’s real human hair.

  12. adrienne Says:

  13. Studentstil Says:

  14. Luxe. Says:

They are really beautiful, almost haunting.

  15. amanda Says:

sorry, i just am too freaked out to love it. i saw this brooch design called “prey”. i am so going to have nightmares about that one….

    :(

  16. Nadia Says:

I have one of her pieces. It’s a bird claw cast in silver, set on a brooch pin. It’s pretty amazing, actually. I get lots of stares when I wear it.

  17. Cellar Door Says:

They are truly divine but I could not wear a dead bird. I can imagine it, all soft feathers and fragile, tiny little bones… eeeee, no way. The portrait brooch is very do-able though.

  18. Sarah Says:

love all of them, eventhough I would be frightend to wear a dead bird. I would try to feed it or bring it back to life instead of doing the things I should. very cute though
