Fireworks

Filed in: Fashion, Outfits

I had to change clothes to go see the fireworks as it was impossible to tuck the huge sleeves on my dress in under a coat. So I went with the boots and sweater I got today, the sweater that turned out to be long enough to wear as a dress. The fireworks were spectacular! Afterwards we went out for a few beers at a trashy pub and ended the evening with a big mac at McDonalds. Not as glamorous as the start of the evening, but still great.

oh, and the fireworks indeed are spectacular!

  3. Cecile Says:

Wow Agathe! You look so beautiful, as always, but every day more! The outfit is so glam rock! Love it!

    Great pictures too!

Like I said in other comments, I am your argentinian fan!

    Kisses!

  4. earthkitten Says:

Gosh, I sure love your outfit. It’s RAD! Are those tights sort of like shiny pleather? Sometimes my crappy computer screen doesn’t always show me things as they really are. And you’re right. That sweater is so ugly, but SO GOOD! It’s smashing. :)

  5. WendyB Says:

    BEAUTIFUL photos!!! Just beautiful.

  6. The Fashion Assistant and her Camera Says:

love the second hand dress….look good on you.

  7. SRR Says:

When I saw only part of the sweater, I had some doubts on how the whole thing would look. But it looks great on you! As usual, you really worked something that could have been really ugly into something totally cool. It’s also very fitting for the flashy fireworks and the pub.

  8. Li Says:

    awesome rags!

  9. La étincelle Says:

And what firework! That looks awsome!

  10. TheClothesHorse Says:

You still look very glam! The washed-out effect of these photos is really nice with the bold lip and metallic top.

  11. ediot Says:

    skikkelig stilig!

  12. modejunkie Says:

the sweater is not ugly like you told. but i would have never noticed it if i were in that secondhand shop. :) imagine how many nice stuff i have missed in the last 10 years of my thrifting life. haha. nice fireworks!

  13. kit Says:

Really cute outfit. I like how you play with different hair looks now, such a long way you have gone.

What do you think about the architecture of the new opera? Do people use these extensive roofsteps?

  14. Carolina Says:

    great outfit!

  15. Amanda Says:

Can’t tell you how much I love your blog! It’s my all time favourite.

  16. scarlet diva Says:

i really love your dress, and your blog!

  17. Alice Says:

    Absolutely gorgeus!

  18. Agathe Says:

Kit, I´ve been really sceptical to the building from the start, but now that it´s done I am absolutely in love. Sadly I haven´t been there to see it up close myself, but from the photos of the interior especially, I can say nothing else but that I am impressed!

Thanks so much for all your sweet comments!

  19. kellyr Says:

Those fireworks are sooo spectacular! Ohhh Ahhhhh. I hope you get to enjoy the opera soon. I’d love to see what you adorn yourself for the opera. Fancy fancy things!

  20. Em Says:

You look gorgeous. I found some fabric just like the one that dress is made of at the charity shop and I can’t wait to use it. It’s so tacky-awesome, haha.

  21. Luxe. Says:

I really like this outfit, very young and fun!

  22. emily Says:

i am soo inlove with the tights you are wearing. please let me know how to get a hold of the tights.
also.,well done on those second hands boots. because of you i am officially obsessed with knee high buckled boots and fringe leather boots.

  23. Agathe Says:

Emily, I think you can find similar tights on eBay. I really don’t know anywhere else, except American Apparel might still have them. Oh, and if you’re a US 5,5 I’ve seen an amazing pair of fringe boots on Etsy.

    Thanks for all your comments!

  24. lady coveted Says:

i love your outfit! it’s kind of like a firework in itself!

  25. punky Says:

    love love love

  26. emily Says:

i have no idea what to search for.
wait are they leggings or tights?
i’ve tried the AA ones they are more like ankle pants. tights are much better or a slouchy pair would be great too.

…too bad i am a size 7.5, thanks for replying though. i love your outfits.

  27. emily Says:

oh my goodness. i just checked etsy and somone with size 5 feet must get these fringe boots for only 25 dollars in perfect condition. i wish my feet were smaller.

  28. Agathe Says:

Emily, yes, aren´t they amazing? Waaaay to small for me though or else I would have gotten them even though I already have a pair. About the tights, I was mixing things up a little. These are legging, just worn in boots. I have a pair of tights like it from H&M, but they are from a couple of years ago. As for eBay you´ll probably mostly find leggings…

  29. Taylor Snowberger Says:

wearing that sweater as a dress is fabulous, I’m always looking for a shirtdress and a sweaterdress but i cant seem to find one that covers my bum, because my torso is about a mile long!
