Topshop Tee
Filed in: Designers, Fashion, Links, Shopping
While it´s kind of sad that so many friends of mine live abroad, I can praise myself lucky that several of them live in Sweden, especially when I want to order from Topshop as they ship to Sweden but not Norway. I used the opportunity for the first time today and got the Fantasy Horse Tee that is obviously inspired by the Maison Martin Margiela creations I have been lusting so much after.

i ordered this online and received it today. i must admit i’m very disappointed - the fit is strange and the sleeves are cut rough and have very large arm holes so it looks too ‘grungy rocker’ for me. gutted as i wanted a t shirt like this for so long. you might love it though, its just my personal taste.

Frisbee, hehe, the way you describe it sounds just perfect to me. ;)
Modejunkie, I intended to make a DIY version for it to be even cheaper, but it´s so hard to find a nice t-shirt with a print like that!

I used to study in Glasgow and my two fave shops were Topshop and Miss Selfridge. I love the clothes at these shops as they always have the cutting edge fashion as well as the basics.
I love Topshop and the fact that I don’t have the store around my nearest corner has really annoyed me. Even worse, our neighbouring country is graced with the exitence of the branch in the capital city. So close but yet so far away. I guess I will have to settle with my occasional trip to London or Glasgow where I frantically empty the store with everything that are easy on my eyes. Back in Norway I show off that little extra something from Topshop.

Oh my goodness, do I love that top. I don’t have access to a TopShop at all either, so it’s painful for me to look at them both. ;)

I saw a tee kinda like this with wolves at a thrift store and I’ve been kicking myself for not getting it! It was just a bit too short. :(

pssst..;) rumours told me that Topshop is coming to Hegdehaugsveien. Where the pub Harlekin was located. It is still a building site though.

Mel, that’s the good thing about not having Topshop here, nobody will have the same things. :)
Robin Claire, when in doubt I usually grab things when it’s secondhand. I just hate regret it afterwards!
Lotte, really?! That would be so sweet! It’s not long ago the only decent shop was H&M and now we get more and more of them. :)

Let me know what you think! I have to wait until next weekend either way as I am meeting my helpful friend in Stockholm then. :)

Not sure if this has been mentioned already but I’ve discovered that monsieur Margiela’s fantasy horse t-shirt graphic is not in fact the product of his own fantasy (or rather, it’s been plain ripped off a fantasy art/t-shirt firm going by the name of ‘The Mountain’).
Decide for yourself here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/SUMMONING-THE-STORM-T-Shirt-The-Mountain-Tie-Dye-XXL-2X_W0QQitemZ290123526527QQihZ019QQcategoryZ15687QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262
The similarity is uncanny. All that’s that’s been altered in the Margiela’s design is the removal of the Indian man in the centre and the colours have been changed slightly.
