Patchwork Skirt
Filed in: Designers, Fashion, Links, Outfits
I got a little surprise in the mail today. The moment I saw the name Bona Drag I knew it had to be good as I love just about every single item in that shop. It turned out to be Hannah, the designer behind With Hearts In My Eyes, and Bona Drag, who had sent me a skirt. And it isn´t just any skirt, it´s the patchwork skirt that I have been lusting after for a while. What a happy coincidence! The best thing about this skirt isn´t just the vibrant patchwork, but also the fact that it´s reversible. When I´m in the mood for something a little more casual, I can just turn it inside out and wear it as a denim skirt!
I wish I had the time to take proper outfit shots as I changed into the skirt at once! I am on the other hand packing as I am leaving for Stockholm tomorrow. I always get so stressed out when I am going somewhere even though I usually always have everything under control. Better shots to come though - I have a feeling I will be wearing this skirt a lot!
Skirt: With Hears In My Eyes at Bona Drag
Tank: Men´s H&M
Jacket: Zara
Earrings: Maya & Ruhi

It’s great that you’ve received the skirt before you left.
It looks puffier on Bona Drag’s website.

It is puffy on me too, especially in the back. It´s one of the things that bothered me on the quick shots I had to take, that it didn´t show better.

Modejunkie, haha, I wouldn´t write about something I didn´t like though. :)
Jezz, I´ll be there until Sunday hanging out with a bunch of friends of mine. I can´t wait!

Now that is a different skirt! Etro had some patchwork things Summer 2007 but they were silky. I bet your skirt is warm, with the two layers. Would you go for a denim patchwork skirt?

You can pull ANYTHING off! I envy you. The skirts were so cool!

Cute skirt! I can’t wait to see what shoes you’ll wear with it. Is it comfortable?
Also, have you considered getting a shorter haircut? You have lovely hair, but it is not really doing anything lately. I think it would add a lot to your look if you got a shorter cut and maybe tried another color. You are so daring when it comes to clothes, but conservative when it comes to your hair….

I hope you take pictures while you’re in Stockholm. That would be delightful!

Hi, I’ve never posted before because I found your blog about a week ago, but I’ve read a year back now because it’s so good. You’re my new favorite fashion blog; you have a great personal touch, both for fashion and for blogging. You’re amazing!
And I love that skirt, both sides.

That is one of the best outfits I have ever laid my eyes on. I love that the denim skirt combines a thick zipper with a tied waist, that is very cool :)

Karen, why not! :)
Carrot, it’s very comfortable! And about the hair, you’re absolutely right, I am very conservative. At the same time though I have such a eclectic style that I’d like to leave my hair a little plain. I am playing with the thought of cutting it short as I see so many great short hairstyles, but I doubt I will dare to in the near future at least.
Carlene, will do!
Ariel, thanks so much!
Lily, my favorite is the patchwork side too. ;)
Thanks so much all!

Nice skirt! Is it the same one? JUst turend out-side-in?

That skirt is amazing. I love the slit at the top of the waist above the zipper. For some reason that feature on an outfit is so appealing to me. What luck to get amazing garb from cool sites like Bona Drag! Well, I suppose it’s not really luck but the fact that you are an excellent fashion blogger…so cool nonetheless!
