Lately I’ve seen several girls wearing headbands like these girls from Face Hunter and Oslostil, and I think it looks cool. I’ve been testing different kinds of head wear lately, so maybe this should be my next project? I don´t feel quite ready for it yet though; I have to play around with it for a while first.

Today´s outfit ended up at Oslostil (check out all of it there). I´ve been busy all day styling a fashion shoot. Tomorrow it´s back to work and everything wil be back to normal. Right now I am dead tired and I look forward to a cup of hot chocolate and some sleep.

I remember seeing this guy at Face Hunter a couple of weeks ago and I loved his style. When I looked through the La Perla collection I came across this vest that looks almost identical to the one he wore. Mary-Kate has been seen wearing huge fur vests lately, but I think one works. It´s more something you throw over your shoulders than an actual vest. The only problem is that tracking something like this down won´t be too easy.

Fashion Files came across this picture at Stureplan of a girl wearing a turban. I´ll let it be another from the runway to real life example as I think it looks great. The turban is almost like mine, only mine is beige. Now I want one in black too - it looks more elegant.

Both of these outfits at Face Hunter remind me of Balenciaga in their own different ways. Part of it is their use of leather and chunky heels. It shows how you can translate that very “spaced out” collection into real life.

H&M have got a pair of pants these days that are worth checking out. They´re very similar to the ones below and I got me a pair. I´ll post a picture as soon as I wear them.

Oslostil and Dries Van Noten.

In quiet moments this Christmas I ended up spending some time browsing through eBay. One of the things I had planned to buy ever since I saw this picture of Mary-Kate Olsen was a black hoody, which I got from Tuffy McPuggles along with a bunch of other items. The picture also lead me to make a search for “Frankie says relax” t-shirts and suddenly I had bought one of those as well from RearWearClothing. I know nothing of the quality yet, but they claim to have good quality t-shirts and their feedback score is 100%. The t-shirt is £9.99 and you can choose from a bunch of different colors, sizes and types of shirts. I choose to look at it as one of those garments that you wear with a pinch of irony.

The weather is so awful these days and the sky is so dark it almost makes you believe that it´s in the middle of the night. Not to mention it´s getting colder. Even though I love this time of year there´s something about it that doesn´t always mix with style. I am screaming for more inspiration on how to dress cause the fashion magazines I read hasn´t really done it for me these days.

It´s then I thank God for blogs like the Sartorialist. I first fell in love with how the girl in the first photo wears her blazer. I also love scarves worn like that, but I so rarely remember it myself. The second girl just looks so comfy in her cozy scarf. I need to find a long scarf like that. And the third girl… I would never have thought of it myself, but it just looks so great.

As many of you probably know, Face Hunter is in Oslo these days. I actually spotted him doing a TV interview outside our apartment not long ago. He seemed very busy with a camera stuck in his face and all, but I guess I wouldn´t have dared to go and say hello anyway. Here are a couple of the pictures he has posted so far from Oslo. I am excited to see the rest of it.

Since skinny jeans are (sadly) predicted to leave the trend scene in the near future, it’s nice to have a few ways of updating the look. So far I’ve mostly worn my skinny jeans tucked into boots during fall/winter. Even though I still like that look, I want other alternatives. Ankle boots is one way to go. An other is thick socks in shoes as Oslostil took a picture of a while back. This is genius. Many designers used thick socks in summery shoes for a fall look. While some of them took it a little far for my taste, this girl has managed to do it just right. As soon as I got my socks from Sock Dreams (I ordered more than the scrunchable thigh highs) I’ll be running around town looking like this myself.

Finally Norway has a street fashion site; OsloStil. It’s only a few days old but they’ve got plenty of pictures up already. I can’t wait to continue checking out this site!

There has been a lack of outfit post from me for a few days. The first day I just didn’t get the time. The second day I wasn’t feeling well. Today I was determined to make up for it, but of course that damn camera isn’t in the mood. So, I’ve picked a few street fashion photos from various sites in stead.

It’s not the first time I write about this trend, but since then I’ve come to realize that I am utterly in love with the look. I’ve already been drooling over the baggy dresses from Chloè’s last collections. And I recently came across a photo on Vintage Amore Forum that had me jump up down in excitement. Also Mary-Kate and Ashley have been sporting this trend, although I am not so sure I like their attempt.

No matter how much I love this look I can’t help but feel that it’s not for me. Even though I am both tall and slim I feel really short and fat when I wear something oversized like that. Still, I want to so bad! I have decided to pull it off somehow though. First I just need one of those dresses!
