eBay is a dangerous place, at least when you´re sick and the laptop is your only connection to the world. I´ve been browsing auctions for a while, and even though I have several bids in, this is the only thing I´ve won so far. For £7.50 it must be called a bargain. I just hope it fits.

So my boyfriend bought these great Cheap Monday pants and I immediately got a little jealous. We walked around for a while until I reluctantly admitted that I wanted the same pants he had just bought. Luckily he didn´t mind, we´ve already dressed the same before, and I ended up getting them as well. I´m still not sure how to wear them. I was thinking to pair them with my oxfords, but it looked kind of strange with my big feet, so for now I´ve paired them with heels. You can get them at Caliroots where they from the photos seem to be supposed to hang a little looser, but on both me and my boyfriend they are pretty skinny, at least around the calves. Maybe we´ve got fat calves, I don´t know, or maybe we should have bought bigger sizes (something they didn´t have). It doesn´t really matter though as I like them this way, and they probably will loosen up a little bit when they´ve been worn a few times. I also got a pair of bright blue leggings from a secondhand shop.

Black shiny tights were already sold at shops like H&M months ago, but they were still frequent in the fall collections.

Playing dress-up is fun. I went for a biker chick princess look with the puffy skirt and leather vest. I´m also wearing black heels and a pink rose necklace that you can´t see well in the picture. I wish I was in well enough shape to go out tonight.

I was doing my outfit shots when a certain someone thought it would be very funny to mess with all the pictures. This is what I wore to work today, but I went home early cause I´m not feeling well. For some reason I am completely drained of energy and I´ve spent most of the day sleeping. I hope to feel well enough to change into something different later tonight cause I´m starting to feel very fashion depraved.

Clothes have always been a big part of my home, from when I lived with my mom and sisters and clothes covered most of the floor in my room to when I later incorporated it more into my home decor. Since I suddenly ended up in apartment alone, I noticed that clothes started taking much more of the space at home. From dresses hanging on the wall, to underwear hanging from the antlers. It´s all part of the “slutty grandma” theme me and my boyfriend came up with together. The idea is an old lady who´s into cookies and the royal family and all that, but who used live a much harder life when she was young, and her earlier days kind of shines through in her apartment. I guess my stripper heels and granny dresses work well together in this atmosphere. These are just a few details of how my home looks like now, and I just had to include the pretty flowers I got from my parents-in-law. I have a lot more planned for the apartment, this is only the beginning.

I´ve never had a clear favorite among the collections before, there are just too many looks to choose from. But this time it´s different. From the very beginning there was one look from Daryl K that stood out, and still, when I look through all the images I can´t help but having a second look at it. I don´t even know what it is that attracts me to it. It´s not like it´s that innovative. Usually I´m not even a big fan of pure black and white combos even though it´s a classic. A big part of it is the hair, but then again the hair runs through the whole collection. I guess it´s something with the pleather pants against the fuzzy v-neck sweater and the white shoes that tops it all off.

After several seasons of baggy dresses it´s refreshing to see more of the really figure hugging dresses.

I signed up as a lab rat today to make some extra money and I´ve had thirteen tubes of blood drawn from me along with a skin sample of my arm. I´m feeling pretty exhausted and not in the mood to wear anything fancy. In addition we went to register at this department store and I discovered that picking out dishes and flatware is pretty hard work! And… I couldn´t sleep last night because I kept admiring my new dresser!

I´m marrying a man who loves shopping at least as much as I do and I am starting to fear the size of our future wardrobes and the need of a much bigger apartment to store everything in. Today, at the flea market, he spotted this dresser that he wanted me to buy. I was like “it´s nice, but I can´t really afford it, and we don´t really have anywhere to put it”. But as you can see, he managed to talk me into it. These mirrored dressers are so pretty and while they´re not really that practical, they give a little of that movie star feeling. I´ve always wanted one, and it´s kind of ironic that I needed a guy to make me buy one. It didn´t stop there though. I also saw a dress I kind of liked. I tried it on, but there were no mirrors, so I wasn´t sure if I wanted to buy it without seeing it first. Once again he managed to talk me into buying something by saying “trust me, you look great in it, you have to buy it”. It works both ways though, he´s just as easy to talk into spending money as I am. I guess we have to concider opening a shop in the future.

Since several of you´ve already guessed it, I guess I should just shout it out to everybody; I´m getting married! The date is set; the 18th of August, and the man I´m marrying is the amazing Kristoffer of Trashion. In other words, there will probably be a few wedding related posts on this blog in the months to come, but for now it will do with a couple of pictures taken of the husband and wife to be minutes after the proposal. We just had to capture the happy faces!

I wore different shoes and handbag earlier today when meeting my parents-in-law for the first time, but the rest of the outfit was the same. I like these shoes better with the outfit, but they´re pretty uncomfortable, and you don´t want to wear painful shoes the first time you meet someone important.

In the latest issue of Henne there´s a four page article about fashion blogs, where the talented Sigrid of Siggelicious Oslo Style is interviewed (one of the girls I met at the blogger meet-up). Several national and international blogs are also mentioned and among them is mine where it says something like “Agathe Bjørnsdatter offers celeb trends, catwalk style and shopping tips.”
